At the beginning of 1994, CV. Indojati Utama stood only in a land area of 1000m2, with the number of employees of 18 people who work in the production of the local teak wood. From 1994-1999, CV. Indojati Utama manufactured the furniture components with capacity of 170.000 cubic teak wood raw materials to fulfill the needs of garden furniture in Asia and Europe. In 2000 until now, CV. Indojati Utama has developed by occupying land area of 2.5ha, with the number of employees of 152 people, who manufacture on the export products of processed merbau wood in the shape of flooring and decking with its various derivative products. As it is known, based on the survey, the largest population of the timber is on the island of Papua; it is merbau species. Therefore, we decided to shift our production raw material from teak to merbau.

The main product produced by CV. Indojati Utama are hardwood flooring, hardwood decking, lamparquet, and E2E. The high demand of those products in the international markets of European, China, India, and Australia, with guaranteed quality, spurs CV. Indojati Utama as a merbau flooring company to develop the technology by bringing the large scale production machines, which is also supported by the well trained experts. In addition, it directly gives an added value, as well as, hope for the specifications of the new products in the future.
